SYNOPSIS:
Kids say the darndest things, and have the wildest imaginations. Bratty 8-year-old Skylar has been grounded and sent to his room (for no good reason, in his mind). With nothing to do, nobody to talk to and lots of time to kill, he vents his frustrations to his best friend, Joel, his Teddy Bear. Turns out, Joel has more to say that Skylar could have ever imagined.
BACKGROUND:
Studio 58 is one of the top theatre schools in North America, and as a final project before graduating, students must create a solo show entirely on their own. This includes writing, designing, directing and performing. Students receive mentorship in class once a week with David Bloom, and the rest is up to them to create!
